What a JOY it is to have people like Paul Hunt and his staff at WOKE JOY FM. They
bring JOY to thousands of people through their broadcast every day with scripture reading
and good old Southern Gospel Music.
Once again, they will bring JOY to homeless, needy veterans and others with their
Annual Turkey Day on November 24th. They will be helping people have a Christmas that
may not have had one without the listeners of JOY FM.
JOY FM will have a live remote to help raise much needed funds, groceries and toys to
help homeless, needy veterans and others through one of the best programs ever started,

Veterans Helping Veterans & Others salute
Living With A Cause and the volunteers who
gather at the Salvation Army each Wednesday
to cook and serve the needy in our area.
Juanita Ford, in the green blouse and white
apron, heads up the dinner each month for Living
With A Cause. She feels that it is a calling from
God on her life to reach out to the needy in our
community.
During the time of this picture, this month, Ms. Ford said they fed 190 people in the
community that day. She gives a special thanks to the Captain of Salvation
Army for opening up their doors for the dinner each week.
They are planning a nice hot Thanks Giving Dinner for the needy this year. They
operate on food donations to feed the people. She said it is a good feeling to see all
those hungry people leave their dinner full. She cried today to see the small children
coming in to eat. Some had to have their faces wiped off and hands washed before they
could eat.
If you would like to be a part of this great work or would like to donate food items,
please call Ms. Ford at 353-6585. We salute Ms. Ford and Living With A Cause for their
service to our community. Keep up the good work. You are indead, "Living With A
