Jonathan is Gone, but will never be forgotten!
Jon's life in Pictures.
Jonathan has crossed over his final bridge in life.  He enjoyed life, he loved life and he lived it to the fullest.  He loved
his family, his church, his school and his country.  The Bible says that greater love has no man than this, that he lay
down his life for a friend.  No one can point their finger at Jonathan Etterling and say he didn't care or he wasn't a great
friend to all of us, because he did care and he was a friend to all of us.  He laid down his life that we could all live free,
enjoy life as he did and live it to the fullest.

Though Jonathan has crossed over the bridge to the others side, and though he has gone as far as he can go for us
all in life, the compassion, love and his fight for others goes on.  As long as there are those who will help carry the
torch he has passed on, homeless, needy veterans and others will receive a helping hand through
"Veterans Helping Veterans & Others"
Jonathan didn't fight for and give his life for himself or just for us veterans, he did it for us all.
If he was here today and he saw a fellow human being in need, veteran or not, he would say,
"He's Not Heavy, He's My Brother"

They say that pictures are worth more than a thousand words.  We want to give Mr. & Mrs. Etterling a special thanks
for sharing their son Jonathan's pictures with us.  They tell the story of his life.  As he stands on the bridge I can almost
hear him telling us good by and his hope is to see us on the other side some day, but in the mean time, keep on
working and fighting to keep America free.  Keep on reaching out to those who are in need, keep on loving and caring
for each other.  Life is too short and there is no place to give up.

Eccles. 9:10 (KJV)
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in
the grave, whither thou goest.
Farewell our comrade and brother,
We hope to meet you on the other side!
