On behalf of our homeless, needy veterans, widows & widowers of
veterans, we thank you.  Because of your support, backing and prayers,
Veterans Helping Veterans & Others is able to help our needy veterans
with Christmas.  Food baskets and toys were given to their children to
help make their Christmas complete.

Sixty veterans and their families, over 200 in all, were honored with a nice
hot Christmas Dinner and all the trimmings.  Our veterans lined the front
of the auditorium at New Life Family Worship Center as special
medallions were placed around each of the veteran's neck on a red,
white and blue ribbon.  On the backs of the medallions were engraved,
Thanks for serving - V.H.V.O. - 12/07.  Santa and his elf were on hand
for pictures and to give out treats to the children.  After the dinner our
veterans were given food baskets and toys to take home for the children.
 Covered dishes were sent home to those veterans who were not able to
attend.


We salute all those who gave their time, support, backing and prayers
to make this year's Christmas Program possible.

first year with us and we appreciate their support.  Because of them and others like them who care, we was
